I mentioned before how I was going to be interviewed by Superversive SF about my short story The Last Oasis of Mars published at High Tower Magazine.

That happened a little while ago and here is the YouTube video:

We spent about ninety minutes talking not only about my stories, but pirates, the nature of Superversive storytelling, and why so many “agenda-based” tales (hello “The Acolyte”) do so poorly but continue to be created and marketed.

We also discussed the nature of Superversive writing relative to Christian themes and even the comeback of the Western (in the case of a few of my own stories the supernatural Western). It was a varied conversation.

Frankly, I had a blast. This was the second time this livestream interviewed me and I hope not the last.
