This is it! My short story “Wayback” is being published in the Cloaked Press anthology Spring Into SciFi 2021 Edition.

I’ve been honored to have my stories “The Recall” and “The Colonists” published in the 2019 and 2020 editions respectively. It’s a tremendous joy to me that the editing team over at “Cloaked” think so well of my writing.

However “Wayback” has another special significance. It’s the very first story representing a “steampunk” universe that has already seen the light of day in other anthologies. You can find the continuation of “Wayback” featured in my short stories “The Mechanical Dragon” (which also explains how steam-cold fusion technology is possible) in the Zombie Pirate Publishing anthology Clockwork Dragons and “The Deseret War” which can be found in the Immortal Works anthology A Mighty Fortress.

But before all that, there is “Wayback.”

Follow the adventures of Wyatt Ellison and Josue Hunter, two “historians” from the far future who work for the mysterious organization “Balancing Point” in correcting time anomalies that could threaten their own quantum universe. After years of temporal successes, they come across the greatest challenge in their careers: a time traveler from the late 19th century is attempting to seize and activate the most dangerous piece of technology ever discovered. In attempting to find her, they must engage the most dangerous piece of technology ever invented. To stop her, they must get help from one of history’s most famed authors, H.G. Wells. Did he invent the time machine upon which is novel was based after all? If so, how can Ellison and Hunter stop the unknown traveler before she irreparably changes all of existence?

Find the answer to those questions and more in “Wayback,” and then continue experiencing the saga in “The Mechanical Dragon” and “The Deseret War.”

Spring Into SciFi 2021 Edition is available now for pre-order at Amazon to be downloaded to your kindle device on March 20, 2021.
