The Planetary Anthology Series relaunch

Once upon a time, there was a “Planetary Anthology series,” eleven volumes each containing short stories written by multiple authors using a superversive theme. Although I submitted to almost all of the different “planets,” I only made it into three.

Sol contains my short story “The Pleiades Dilemma.” An object has entered our solar system from interstellar space. A team of NASA experts has been sent aboard a spacecraft to investigate. What they find is betrayal, the threat of global annihilation, and possibly a greatest hope for humanity’s future.

Mars contains my award-winning short story “The Three Billion Year Love.”. After a billionaire scientist tragically lost his young wife, he secluded himself with a new project. In finding the ancient past on another planet, he also found a new reason to live.

Saturn features my short story “Saving the Apostle.” Since one of the things Saturn symbolizes is time, I wrote a time travel story where an Israeli Jewish scientist embarks on a mission to stop the world’s anti-Semitic drive to destroy the Jewish homeland (sounds like current events as I write this). To do this, he attempts to go back in time and prevent the Apostle Paul, who was the only Apostle able to bridge the gap between the First Century Jewish Messianic movement and Gentile Christianity, from being executed in Rome. The results of his effort changed history in an absolutely startling way.

All eleven of these anthologies went out of print and so too did my three short stories.

Now they’re back! Today is the official release day for the Planetary anthology.
